If you were to ask me what I want for my birthday today, the list would be quite simple. I would want to celebrate another trip around the sun by spending time with the ones I love: holding hands, making music, dancing, eating, savouring each other, being reminded of how much love and grace we have in our lives, and lingering together in the simple beauty of a warm summer’s night. For all the luxurious beauty and inspiration I try to capture on this blog, the most priceless and beautiful things of all can never be bought or sold. But they can be treasured.
Today, let’s take the time to treasure the things that really matter. That is my birthday wish.
